PNG — The Universal Choice
Portable Network Graphics is the best general-purpose format for most uses.
Use PNG when:

PNG Qualities:

SVG Qualities:

- •Tiny file size — usually under 50KB
- •Editble nodes — designers can modify individual elements
- •Not supported everywhere — can't be embedded in Word/PowerPoint directly
JPEG — For Quick Sharing
Joint Photographic Experts Group format is optimized for small file sizes.
Use JPEG when:
- •Sending via email (smallest attachment size)
- •Sharing in WhatsApp or Telegram (they may re-compress PNG)
- •Embedding in older systems that don't support PNG transparency
- •Quick sharing where quality isn't critical
⚠️ Warning:
JPEG uses lossy compression — it slightly degrades image quality. Always preview your JPEG QR code before using it to ensure it still scans correctly. Never use JPEG for printing.
